BrickWorth is made by Danil Chshavelev. This policy explains what the app handles and why. Short version: no account, no ads, no tracking across apps, and your collection stays on your device.
The sets on your shelf and wishlist, their condition, quantities and the prices you paid are stored only on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
When you scan a set, the photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes it to an AI model hosted by Replicate (an OpenAI model) to read the set number and name. The photo is used only to answer that request and is not stored by us. Replicate and OpenAI process it under their API data policies, which do not use API data to train models.
Searches and set numbers you look up are sent to our server, which queries the public Rebrickable and Brickset catalogues. Set data is cached on the server; your queries are not linked to you.
The app creates a random identifier on first launch and sends it with scan requests, only to apply a daily scan limit. It is not linked to your name, Apple ID, device ID or any other data.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. We use Adapty to confirm subscriptions and to show the right offer: it receives your purchase history, an anonymous device identifier and basic in-app events (for example, which onboarding step or paywall was shown). This data is not linked to your name or Apple ID and is not used for advertising or tracking.
No advertising SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites, no sale or sharing of personal data.
Google Cloud / Firebase (hosts our server), Replicate and OpenAI (photo reading), Adapty (subscriptions and anonymous app analytics), Rebrickable and Brickset (public set catalogues).
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data.
