Fotik analyses your photo library entirely on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, copied off the device, or shared with anyone — including us.
To avoid re-analysing your whole library on every launch, Fotik keeps a small cache of technical characteristics (an image fingerprint, a sharpness value, file size and dates). This cache lives in the app's own storage on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregated sales statistics only.
Fotik asks for access to your photo library because there is nothing to scan without it. If you grant limited access, Fotik sees only the photos you selected and says so on screen rather than claiming to have checked everything.
Fotik is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from them.
