A page came out badly

Fill the frame with the page and keep the camera parallel to it.
Even light beats bright light — a hard shadow across the page costs more lines than a dim room.
For handwriting, a steady hand and a flat page matter more than resolution.
Switch to Show page in the reader: highlighted lines are the ones Glyphra read, so you can see exactly what it missed.

Because it is not needed. Recognition runs on your iPhone, which is why Glyphra works in airplane mode, has no account, and never uploads your pages.

Settings → Restore purchases, with the same Apple Account you bought it on.

Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Glyphra. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the subscription stays active until the period ends.
